Director of Adult Social Care Operations

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of our Adults and Health directorate. We’re looking for someone who brings strategic vision, operational expertise and a deep commitment to improving lives. You will lead services that support adults with care and support needs to live safely, independently and well. You will work across systems and with communities to embed prevention, tackle inequalities, and ensure our services reflect the lived experiences of Camden’s residents.

We’re looking for someone who can continue this excellent work, lead with empathy and ambition and who has experience in leading adult social care services, including safeguarding, integrated working and operational delivery. You will be comfortable navigating complexity, building trust and making difficult decisions when needed. You will also be a collaborative leader who empowers others, values lived experience and is committed to continuous learning and improvement.

This role also deputises for our Executive Director of Adults and Health, who is Camden’s statutory Director of Adult Social Services. You will be a key member of our senior leadership team, helping to shape the future of adult social care in Camden and representing the borough on a London-wide and national stage.
